This year #cvribfest24 will have a Kid’s Zone, making our event a great time for the whole family. Brought to you by the good folks at Underhill Geomatics Ltd., our Kid’s Zone will feature bouncy castles and other activities from Comox Valley Bounce, face painting (by donation), and possibly even some group activities.

We have our lineup of entertainers booked for #CVRibfest2024 and it’s got a little bit of something for everyone.

Ribfest ’24 will see the addition of fresh Corn-on-the-Cob! Brought to you by the Strathcona-Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Comox Valley, this fresh, local boiled corn makes for the perfect addition to your rib-experience.

This is how it works: 5 Ribbers submit samples of ribs and sauce to our 2023 judges, who then pick their ‘best’. Our judging host Rotarian, Marty Douglas, tallies the results and advises host of the trophy presentation. And finally, trophies are announced in Rib & Sauce categories.
